CHIRPY CHEEP CHEEP.

Where's your Mama gone? ( Where's your Mama gone? )
Little Baby Don? ( Little Baby Don? )
Where's your Mama gone? ( Where's your Mama gone? )
Far, far away. Far, far awa-a-a-a-y.
Last night I heard my Mama singing a song.
( Oo--ee---, chirpy, chirpy cheep, cheep. )
Woke up this morning and my Mama was gone.
( Oo--ee--, chirpy, chirpy cheep, cheep,
Chirpy, chirpy cheep, cheep, chirp! )

If I had a hammer

If I had a hammer

I'd hammer in the morning

I'd hammer in the evening

All over this land

I'd hammer out danger

I'd hammer out a warning

I'd hammer out love between my brothers and my sisters

All over this land

If I had a bell

I'd ring it in the morning

I'd ring it in the evening

All over this land

I'd ring out danger

I'd ring out a warning

I'd ring out love between my brothers and my sisters

All over this land

If I had a song

I'd sing it in the morning

I'd sing it in the evening

All over this land

I'd sing out danger

I'd sing out a warning

I'd sing out love between my brothers and my sisters

All over this land

Well I've got a hammer

And I've got a bell

And I've got a song to sing

All over this land

It's the hammer of justice

It's the bell of freedom

It's the song about love between my brothers and my sisters

All over this land

All over this land

Joshua fought the battle of Jericho

Joshua fought the battle of Jericho
Jericho, Jericho,
Joshua fought the battle of Jericho,
And the walls come tumblin’ down.

You may talk about your kings of Gideon,
You may talk about your men of Saul,
But there's none like good old Joshua
At the battle of Jericho.

Joshua fought the battle of Jericho
Jericho, Jericho,
Joshua fought the battle of Jericho,
And the walls come tumblin’ down.

Right up to the walls of Jericho
They marched with spear in hand,
Go blow them ram horns, Joshua cried
Cause the battle is in my hand.

LET'S GO FLY A KITE

With tuppence for paper and strings

You can have your own set of wings;

With your feet on the ground, you're a bird in flight

With your fist holding tight to the string of your kite. Oh------

Let's go fly a kite, up to the highest height!

Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring

Up through the atmosphere, up where the air is clear.

Oh let's go fly a kite!

When you send it flying up there,

All at once you're lighter than air;

You can dance on the breeze over houses and trees

With your fist holding tight to the string of your kite. Oh---

Let's go fly a kite, up to the highest height!

Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring

Up through the atmosphere, up where the air is clear.

Oh let's go fly a kite!

Swing Low, Sweet Chariot

Swing low, sweet chariot
Coming for to carry me home.
Swing low, sweet chariot
Coming for to carry me home.

1/      I looked over Jordan and what did I see
Coming for to carry me home
A band of angels coming after me!
Coming for to carry me home

Swing low, sweet chariot

Coming for to carry me home.
Swing low, sweet chariot
Coming for to carry me home.

2/      If you get there before I do
Coming for to carry me home
Just tell my friends that I'm coming too
Coming for to carry me home.

Swing low, sweet chariot
Coming for to carry me home.
Swing low, sweet chariot
Coming for to carry me home.

3/      I'm sometimes up and sometimes down

Coming for to carry me home,
But still my soul feels heavenly bound
Coming for to carry me home

Swing low, sweet chariot
Coming for to carry me home.
Swing low, sweet chariot
Coming for to carry me home.

Swinging on a star

Would you like to swing on a star
Carry moonbeams home in a jar
And be better off than you are
Or would you rather be a mule?

A mule is an animal with long funny ears
Kicks up at anything he hears.
His back is brawny and his brain is weak
He's just plain stupid with a stubborn streak
And by the way, if you hate to go to school
You may grow up to be a mule!

Or would you like to swing on a star
Carry moonbeams home in a jar
And be better off than you are
Or would you rather be a pig?

A pig is an animal with dirt on his face
His shoes are a terrible disgrace
He ain't got no manners when he eats his food
He's fat and lazy and extremely rude
But if you don't care a feather or a fig
You may grow up to be a pig!

Or would you like to swing on a star
Carry moonbeams home in a jar
And be better off than you are
Or would you rather be a fish?

A fish won't do anything, but swim in a brook
He can't write his name or read a book
And to fool the people is his only thought
And though he's slippery, he still gets caught
But then if that sort of life is what you wish
You may grow up to be a fish!

And all the monkeys aren't in the zoo
Every day you meet quite a few
So you see it's all up to you
You can be better than you are
You could be swingin' on a star!

The Titanic

1. Oh they built the ship Titanic

To sail the ocean blue

And they thought they had a ship

The water would never go through

But the Lord’s Almighty hand

Knew that ship would never land.

It was sad when that great ship went down.

It was sad ( it  was sad),

It was sad ( mighty sad )

It was sad when that great ship went down

( To the bottom of the sea! )

Husbands and wives,

Little children lost their lives.

It was sad when that great ship went down.

2.  Oh she was far from England

And approaching to the shore

When the rich refused to associate with the poor.

So they put them down below

Where they were first to go.

It was sad when that great ship went down.

It was sad ( it was sad),

It was sad ( mighty sad )

It was sad when that great ship went down

( To the bottom of the sea! )

Husbands and wives,

Little children lost their lives.

It was sad when that great ship went down.

3. As the humble closed their eyes

In the darkness of the hold,

The rich upstairs were playing cards for gold,

And they laughed when a sailor said

‘There’s an iceberg close ahead!’

It was sad when that great ship went down.

It was sad ( it was sad),

It was sad ( mighty sad )

It was sad when that great ship went down

( To the bottom of the sea! )

Husbands and wives,

Little children lost their lives.

It was sad when that great ship went down.

4. When the Captain heard the news

From a sailor up the mast,

He said ‘Steady boys! We’d better not go too fast!’

But the company in their greed

Said ‘We must increase the speed!’

It was sad when that great ship went down.

It was sad ( it was sad),

It was sad ( mighty sad )

It was sad when that great ship went down

( To the bottom of the sea! )

Husbands and wives,

Little children lost their lives.

It was sad when that great ship went down.

5. Oh they put the lifeboats out,

O’er the dark and freezing sea,

And the band on board played ‘Nearer my God to Thee’.

Little children wept and cried

As the waves swept o’er the side.

It was sad when that great ship went down.

It was sad ( it was sad),

It was sad ( mighty sad )

It was sad when that great ship went down

( To the bottom of the sea! )

Husbands and wives,

Little children lost their lives.

It was sad when that great ship went down.

Yellow Submarine

In the town where I was born,
Lived a man who sailed to sea,
And he told us of his life,
In the land of submarines,

So we sailed on to the sun,
Till we found the sea of green,
And we lived beneath the waves,
In our yellow submarine,

We all live in a yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine,
We all live in a yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
.

And our friends are all aboard,
Many more of them live next door,
And the band begins to play.

(Trumpets play)

We all live in a yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine,
We all live a yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine.

As we live a life of ease
Every one of us has all we need,
Sky of blue and sea of green,
In our yellow submarine.

Zip a Dee Doo Dah

Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay,
My, oh, my, what a wonderful day.
Plenty of sunshine headin' my way,
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay!

Mister Bluebird's on my shoulder,
It's the truth, it's "actual"
Everything is "satisfactual."

Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay,
Wonderful feeling, wonderful day!

( 3 times )

Wonderful feeling, wonderful day!!!
